Powder Springs Elementary School
Powder Springs Elementary School is proud of its commitment to discipline, safety and academic excellence. During the past eight years, Powder Springs has focused on effective school research. The school's mission, beliefs and motto have been revised to set the precedent for excellence. Powder Springs Elementary is continuously working to provide a safe and orderly environment for all students to establish a climate conducive for learning. Teachers monitor student achievement through pre and posttests, teacher-developed instruments (writing rubrics, etc.), computerized assessments and standardized measures. With a strong commitment to staff development, this Cobb County School is focused on their goal to provide professional development activities for the entire staff. Incorporating the philosophy of T.E.A.M (Together Everyone Achieves More), administration provided collaborative team planning for each grade level.

Cooper Middle School
At Cooper Middle School the goal statements are as follows: All students will demonstrate proficiency in number sense through computation and problem solving at or above expected grade level equivalency. All students shall demonstrate proficiency in reading comprehension at or above expected grade level equivalency. This highly recognized school of excellence is dedicated to constant evolution of its students, staff and curriculum. Cooper Middle School is one of a few schools in Cobb County recognized with the Advance Placement Certified program. This program is in affiliation with high schools to prepare students for the challenge provided by honors and AP courses.

McEachern High School
At McEachern High School, the staff is dedicated to providing a safe, caring and engaging school for all the students. McEachern High offers a range of academic electives, co-curricular, extra curricular activities and school sponsored clubs to help enrich the students. Each year professional development activities are planned to ensure the school is meeting up to their mission statement. The staff at McEachern wants to make sure the school is continuously growing, learning and improving.
