Prominence Court
Cherokee County Schools continue to be ahead of the curve statewide & nationally with its Accountability Policy, as well as local Student Performance Standards for every core academic subject and grade.
Elementary School:
Liberty Elementary School
Liberty Elementary School opened its doors on August 12, 2002, using a committee of parents, students, and school faculty members to select the school's name. The school is a living memorial to the victims of September 11th, and also commemorates the original Liberty School in North Cherokee that was operational in the early 1900's. The school has two fully operational computer labs with 28 state-of-the-art computer workstations in each, and the school will receive a lab of portable laptop computers in the near future. Liberty Elementary School's media center has over 9,000 items in its collection and is continuing to grow. The media center sponsors a reading incentive program known as Accelerated Reader. Scholastic scores to date are ranking Liberty at the top of the County.
Freedom Middle School
Freedom Middle School opened their doors in August 2005. At Freedom, our desire is to encourage students to develop a desire to learn, to be self-reliant and to be independent and responsible citizens. The mission of Freedom Middle School is to be a learning community where there is success for today, preparation for tomorrow and learning for a lifetime. A school where students are free, within limits, to be individuals and are valued for their individuality; responsible to themselves and others; empowered to reach their full potential and use their strengths to empower others; expected to be the best they can be, academically, behaviorally and socially; dedicated to high ideals and to the principals of democracy; organized and prepared to learn and motivated to be the best they can be.
Cherokee High School
Cherokee High School held its first classes during the academic year of 1956-57, consisting of 34 teachers, one principal and 821 students. The school has grown to consist of approximately 118 teachers, 1800 students, with the addition of a gymnasium, auditorium, vocational building, language arts building, 21 additional classrooms, a new science and foreign language building, and administrative building. Cherokee High School offers a comprehensive program of academic, technical/career and enrichment courses. The students' Activities Program consists of clubs and activity organizations. Cherokee High School is fully accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Prominence Court
Prominence Court offers wonderful amenities including a neighborhood pool, mushroom play fountain, cabana, playground, and neighborhood parks. Prominence Court offers easy access to I-575 and I-75, a variety of home designs, professionally landscaped and sodded homesites, and decorative streetlamps throughout.
