Caswell Overlook

Elementary School:
Dunleith Elementary School
Dunleith Elementary School opened its doors in 1993, with the staff committed to academic achievement and excellence in a nurturing environment. Dunleith takes great pride in its exceptional teaching staff, a diverse international population, high discipline standards, excellent test scores and special programs that foster optimal learning. The school has 30- and 40-unit Computer Labs plus 3 computers in each classroom. Onsite facilities include an automated media center, Keyboard Music Lab and more. Approximately 53% of Dunlieth teachers have advanced degrees (Master's degree or higher). Dunlieth Elementary is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and has won several prestiges' awards such as Georgia Dept. of Education Intech School Award, 2000 and Technology Integration Grant Recipient, 2003 and 2004.
Marietta Sixth Grade Academy
Formerly Marietta Middle School, the school re-opened as a sixth grade-only facility in 2002. Marietta Sixth Grade Academy celebrates their unique teachers, students, and parents learning together. There are approximately 600 students speaking over 28 different languages. The mission of Marietta City Schools is to provide quality instruction and support services to each student. On average teachers at MSGA have over 10 years teaching experience. The MSGA provides a nurturing environment while also offering academically challenging opportunities. Onsite facilities include technology labs for typing, computers, art and science and more. The Marietta Sixth Grade Academy offers the Sixth Grade Magnet Program, which is a rigorous program of instruction focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM.)
Marietta Middle School
At Marietta Middle School, you will find a staff building on a successful history of academic excellence with instructional and extracurricular programs that create a positive learning atmosphere for every student. Their approach to learning fosters creativity, individual responsibility, and readiness for high school. Marietta Middle School proudly serves students from diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds, and their classrooms are filled with caring teachers and involved parents who are working together to shape the future. Facilities include five large computer labs, three science labs, two gymnasiums and more. Approximately 1,200 7th- 8th Grade students attend MMS with a 1:12 Teacher to Student ratio. Additionally the school offers, 29 Specialists and Special Education staff members, 37 Support personnel, and Assistant principals stationed in both the 7th and 8th grade wings. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Elementary/Middle School Commission.
Marietta High School
Award-winning Marietta High School is equipping young adults to excel in a highly competitive, dynamic workplace. Academic standards are higher than ever before, and colleges are placing greater emphasis on leadership and social skills. To secure top jobs, graduates must demonstrate excellence in core academics and hands-on experience in emerging technologies and world issues. Marietta High School helps children build upon on their individual strengths through a myriad of specialized coursework and advanced technology. 70% of staff holds a Master's Degree or higher and MHS is ranked in the top 5% of U.S. high schools, Newsweek 2006 and is the 2003 Georgia School of Excellence. Marietta High School is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
Marietta Center of Advanced Academic 3rd - 5th
The science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) magnet academy at Marietta Center for Advanced Academics provides third through fifth grade students an integrated, rigorous academic program. Based on the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS), the comprehensive, STEM magnet program uses a balance of texts and technological resources to provide an education that is challenging at higher levels, and faster-paced, than most traditional elementary learning environments.
Marietta Charter School
Marietta Charter School began as the City of Marietta's first start-up charter school in August 2006. It is a free tuition public school that is a part of the Marietta City School system. Marietta Charter School serves students from grades K-5. All students eligible to attend a Marietta City School are eligible for enrollment at Marietta Charter School. The school is proud to be a school with a charter school vision, but not a charter school tuition.
