Not only does Bowen Family Homes go to great lengths to design and construct the finest homes in desirable areas, we also find the time to assist the communities in which our neighborhoods reside. One such philanthropic endeavor is the Gwinnett Children's Shelter in Gwinnett County, GA.

Upon a recent visit to the Gwinnett Children’s Shelter, the executives of Bowen Family Homes knew that rather than make a small donation to help kick off a fundraising drive for the Shelter, they would also finish the fundraising drive. Today, the Shelter is a 5,000 square-foot facility that houses children from ages five to 12.

The 2006 Bowen Family Homes Healing House helped benefit both Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Shepherd Center. Raffle Tickets were sold for $100 for a chance to win the Healing House! The Healing House helped raise over $320,000. The raffle drawing was held on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the Healing House in our Freeman Crossing community in Lawrenceville.
